Students should represent more than just a number, SAT Opinion I New Media Literacy

The UCs/other schools are eliminating the SAT from the college admission process due to COVID-19 shutting down test centers. However, due to inequality in opportunities these standardized tests create, they should be eliminated completely.

Excellent video! The world watches as colleges across the nation decide what the testing policies will be for the Class of 2022 and beyond.
All of the college representatives that spoke at LAHS this year (220+) said to various degrees that standardized test scores were just one part of the admission process and their data shows it’s not the best indicator of success and retention for admitted students (GPA is).
